Bishop Esterka Trust
A foundation site that shows donors where the money goes before asking for more.

About the client
The Bishop Esterka Trust continues the work of the late Bishop Esterka by funding healthcare projects in Haiti and scholarships for students.
Project need
Foundations run on trust. Donors want to see where previous money went before they give again, and that record was not easy to find.
The site also had to carry two things at once: a personal legacy and a factual account of how funds have been used.
Approach
I led with the record rather than the appeal. The site presents the foundation's funding history directly, including the healthcare projects in Haiti covering surgical, dialysis, and dental services, and the scholarship program.
Putting those figures before the donation request was a deliberate choice. A donor who understands the track record is more likely to give than one who is asked first and informed second.
Bishop Esterka's biography sits alongside the project work so the mission has context, and news updates from Haiti give returning visitors a reason to check back.
Donations and other ways to get involved are straightforward to find without dominating the page.
Result
A donor can understand the mission, review what has been funded, and give in a single visit. The foundation has a place to publish updates as projects progress.
