SciFit Training

A gym website built around the three things prospective members actually ask.

About the client

SciFit Training is a functional fitness gym in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, with coaching staff who have been working with athletes and everyday members for years.

Project need

Almost everyone visiting a gym website wants the same three answers: when are classes, what does it cost, and how do I try it once before committing.

The old experience buried those answers, and most visitors were arriving on a phone. If someone has to hunt for a schedule, they usually just close the tab.

Approach

I built the site around those three questions rather than around a conventional page structure. Membership options and pricing are stated directly instead of requiring a phone call, and the class schedule is a primary page rather than a PDF or an afterthought.

Daily workout postings gave the team a reason to keep the site current, which in turn gives members a reason to come back to it.

Discounts for military, police, and firefighters are called out where people will see them, since they were previously only mentioned if someone asked.

The layout was designed for phones first, because that is where the traffic is.

Result

Someone considering their first session can find the schedule, understand the cost, and sign up without contacting anyone. The staff can post workouts themselves.
