About the client

Keystone Chrono Works is a watch repair and restoration shop in Scranton, Pennsylvania, run by a working watchmaker. The shop services vintage and modern timepieces, from movement repair to bracelet and case restoration.

Project need

Watch repair is a trust purchase. Customers are handing over an heirloom or mailing it across the country, and they want to know who is doing the work before they commit.

The shop needed a site that explained the services clearly, showed the level of craft involved, and gave people an obvious way to start a repair without having to call first.

Approach

I organized the site around the services themselves, with a separate section for each type of work: movement repair and replacement, full servicing, bracelet and case restoration, and water resistance testing. Splitting these out lets a visitor find the specific thing they need instead of reading through one long page.

Customer testimonials sit next to the service descriptions rather than on their own page, since that is the point where someone is deciding whether to trust the shop.

Requesting a quote and booking an appointment are both reachable from every page. For a business where most jobs start with a question, keeping that path short matters more than any design detail.

Result

The shop has a site that matches the quality of its work and gives customers a clear first step. Quote requests and appointment bookings both happen through the site instead of over the phone.
