MY TREES
A donation platform for a tree-planting foundation, built to turn intent into a completed gift.
The challenge
MY TREES is a Czech foundation, established in 2020, working towards planting a billion trees — in the Czech Republic, in Colombia, and beyond. Donations are the engine of that work, and every extra step between wanting to give and having given costs real trees. The platform had to make giving feel immediate and trustworthy, in Czech, for donors who had often just arrived from a campaign or a planting event.
What I built
I built a dedicated donation site rather than bolting a form onto a brochure page, so the whole experience is pointed at one outcome. It explains where the money goes — mature nursery trees rather than saplings, chosen for survival rates — alongside the volunteering and municipality programmes, and processes payments securely.
Because it lives on its own subdomain, campaigns can link straight to it without dragging donors through a site hierarchy first.
The result
A foundation whose fundraising no longer depends on bank transfer instructions, and a giving flow short enough that momentum from a campaign actually converts.
