Nadace svatého Františka z Assisi
A Czech language site for a foundation funding work in India, Tanzania, and at home.

About the client
Nadace svatého Františka z Assisi is a Czech foundation established in 1993. It works alongside the Missionaries of Charity to support people living in extreme poverty.
Project need
Three decades of humanitarian work had accumulated without a clear public record. Donors in the Czech Republic had no straightforward way to see what the foundation had funded or how to contribute.
Everything needed to be in Czech, since that is the language of the people supporting this work.
Approach
I structured the site around the foundation's actual output: individual projects, a photo gallery, and supporting documents, with a direct path for anyone who wants to help.
Annual figures appear up front, including the 2.19 million crowns directed in 2023 to orphanages, assisted living, and specialized care across India, Tanzania, and the Czech Republic. Specific numbers do more for donor confidence than descriptive language does.
Background on Mother Teresa and the Missionaries of Charity gives context for visitors less familiar with the partnership.
The site is entirely in Czech. There was no reason to add English and dilute the writing for an audience that is not the one giving.
Result
Thirty years of work is now documented in one place, and supporters have a clear way to contribute or find out more.
